About: I'm honestly not sure who was most amazed at this moment. Perhaps it was this baby elephant who may have been seeing humans for the first time. More like it was me, trying to suppress squeals of joy at the incredible sight before me. Elephants are amazing, the giants of the wilderness, and it's hard not to be impressed by the adults. The young are my favourites though, just like human toddlers they're clumsy and excitable and always trying to assert their independence. This little one took a tentative few steps in our direction before being corralled back to join the herd. Honestly, I'd have been happy for the new travelling companion but we might have struggled to fit her in the car!
